Welcome to A.T. Leather Works, where we take immense pride in prioritizing customer satisfaction above all else. My journey with leather began in my teenage years while growing up in West Texas, where I was constantly surrounded by the beauty and quality of leather craftsmanship. The look, smell, and feel of Western Tack captivated me, and during my youth, I had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working as a helper in a saddle shop. This experience allowed me to witness the intricate process of leather firsthand and solidified my love for this art form.

Although I pursued a different career path for a time, fate brought me back to leather when I was introduced to law enforcement gear. While working in a correction facility, I often saw Texas Rangers coming and going, showcasing their impressive custom tooled belts and holsters. It was inspiring to see such craftsmanship in action. I learned that my agency allowed for the use of the same Western Duty Gear. However, as a young rookie with limited income, owning such exquisite tooled leather equipment seemed out of reach.

Drawing from my earlier experience in the saddle shop and my understanding of the tools and techniques involved, I decided to take on the task of creating my own leather.

 

Today, A.T. Leather Works is not a multi employee shop where less than the best product details can at times slip through. I am still a small shop doing one item at a time committed to producing high-quality leather products that embody the same passion, artistry, and craftsmanship that have inspired me throughout my journey.
